Mad About Pennies

Yvonne’s obsession with wool pennies started about 10 years ago after spending 3 days with L Alpert Fay.  You too will quickly become addicted to stitching these wonderful little concentric circles during this class.  It is calming, meditative, and the possibilities are endless.  You can choose to design a pillow, candle mat or table runner.  If circles aren’t for you, choose another shape and design to work on.  There will be lots of samples to inspire your creativity.

Supplies fee: $10 (for threads, needles, threader and templates) To be paid directly to the instructor.

Bring scissors and washed wool fabric in a variety of textures and colours.

Yvonne Iten-Scott is a contemporary textile artist.  She has taught and exhibited around the world and is a facuty member at Fleming College in Haliburton.  She has also had textile residencies in Iceland, Shetland and Morocco.
