DESIGN, DRAW, AND HOOK AN INCH MAT

Design and draw an inch mat, with or without a motif, on backing of your choice, and master grid lines and directional hooking. Or purchase a pattern or adapt a pattern you own. Do not be intimidated about designing and drawing an inch mat. If you can draw a line with a ruler and count, you will enjoy the class.
You will need your frame, hook, backing (size your choice) and wool from your stash.
Things to think about … backing, the size, a design with or without a motif, or a vendor pattern and wool. And what are you thinking for the finished project … a pillow, bag, wall or floor rug.

Suzanne Chaddock has been hooking for ten years. She is an accredited OHCG and Oxford Punch Needle Teacher. Suzanne is currently undertaking her McGown accreditation with graduation expected to be July of 2026. She enjoyed teaching in person and virtually with her favourite subjects being Celtic designs and fingerprints.
