Against the Sky (and Beyond) – Wet Felting a Background with Jennifer Curran (Hybrid)

Create a wet felted background and hook on top!  (maximum size 11 x 14 for this class). Create an amazing sky or a whole background using a modified wet felting method.  Place it on the backing and hook on top.  You could hook silhouettes of trees or use the felt as the backdrop for a larger motif.  In this class you choose the style you want but we will discuss both and the similarities and differences of hooking them.

This is a Hybrid on-line and in-person class – equivalent to 1 ½ days.   It will include learning how to do a modified wet felting technique that will enable to you to use as a background for your hooking, techniques for hooking through the felted background, and a show binding finish that will also cover the back of your work.
