COMPREHENSIVE BASIC FINISHING

This course suits beginners or those who want a refresher on finishing. Proper grooming, blocking and steaming will be demonstrated. Various finishing options including fold forward, folding back, and cording, as well as mitring and rounded corners. Whipping yarns and options whipping options demonstrated. Attaching a show binding will be taught and finishing round rugs so they lie flat will be demonstrated. Labelling your piece and the storage of finished pieces will also be discussed.
There will be a $10.00 charge (paid directly to the instructor) for a comprehensive 12-page handout and kit (foundation, needle, yarn) will allow participants to try various techniques in class.

Jane Bridgeman lives in Toronto. She completed her OHCG Teaching accreditation in 2018, and McGown certification in 2023.
