Where do you teach? I have been teaching at Trent School of Rug Hooking, Small groups in the US, Workshops at public schools, and workshops in public Library. Out of my home workshops. Art classes at Community Centre. I have been teaching some form of fibre arts since 1985. My passion is to educate and keep old traditions alive with knowledge and laughter.
What do you teach? I love teaching: Fine Shading, Wide Cut Shading, 3D, Pictorial-Landscape, Portraits, Flowers and Leaves, Seascapes, Story Rugs, Shades of Grey, Alternative Fibres, Christmas, Bags, Stained Glass, Fruits and Veggies, Animals, Butterflies and Bugs.
What is your favourite thing to teach? I love to impart the importance of design, compositions, and balance when creating.
How far are you willing to travel to do a workshop? I'm willing to travel and Teach from East Coast to West Coast, North and South. Wherever I can spread the Rug Hooking and Fibre Art word.
What do you like best about teaching? I love seeing the happy faces on students, especially when they are creating their own work. Encouraging creativity.
What is your favourite tip to share with your students? Enjoy what you do! Do what you enjoy.
