- Easy To Use: The bed pad should be placed under the lower sheet, aligned with the shoulder blades or under the hips. A cord from the pad runs along the side of the mattress and securely connects to the bed monitor, which can be clipped to the headboard or placed on a table nearby. A phone-style clip makes it easy to switch between bed and chair pads. For chair use, the monitor can be clipped to the back of the chair.
