- BALANCED HEFT DOES THE WORK: At 7.2 oz in solid Red Oak; this brush outweighs plastic bristle brushes by three times — the natural weight lets boar bristles glide through thick hair without you pressing down harder to compensate
- TWO LAYERS IN ONE SLOW PASS: Nylon pins slide into the knot and open it; boar bristles follow behind and carry your natural oils from root to tip — most owners stop reaching for a second brush within the first week
- WET HAIR WITHOUT THE DRAG: Standard boar bristle brushes grip wet strands and pull; the nylon pins here separate each section first so bristles never clamp down — towel-dry or dripping; start from the ends and work up
- SIZED FOR VOLUME NOT FINE STRAIGHT: The 9.45 x 2.75 in oval head covers more surface per stroke than round or paddle shapes; the air cushion base flexes with each pass so it follows your scalp contour instead of fighting it
- WHAT ARRIVES: One oval brush (9.45 x 2.75 in; about the length of a standard paperback); piano-black lacquer over solid Red Oak; a branded storage box that doubles as a gift box; total weight 7.2 oz
