2022 OHCG Virtual Annual: Folklore

2022 OHCG CONFERENCE & RUG SHOW: FOLKLORE, APRIL 30, 2022 Theme: The theme is Folklore and the time is now to plan your theme rug. For inspiration, the dictionary description is “the traditional beliefs and stories of a people; traditional costumes, tales, sayings, dances, or art forms preserved among a people”. How does this apply to you? Is there a fairy tale you love? Have you always wished to capture your family heritage through rug hooking? Is there a child/grandchild who would delight in receiving a folklore rug? The possibilities for creative, colourful designs are endless!

Format: The conference will be “virtual” (similar to 2021) with a “hybrid” option. What does this mean? It means that the April 30 program will be delivered to you via Zoom (that’s the “virtual” part”). If pandemic conditions permit, branches or small groups may choose to gather in person on conference day and view the virtual program together (that’s the “hybrid” part). Any arrangements for in-person gatherings will be the responsibility of the group.
