Area 11 demonstrates at the Mariposa Folk Festival

Huronia Branch’s rug display at the 2017 OHCG Annual, featuring a huge hooked birthday card to Canada on its 150th birthday

Area 11 has been invited to participate in the Mariposa Folk Festival which is held July 7th to the 9th, 2017 at Tudhope Park in Orillia. As a part of the festival’s salute to Canada’s 150th Birthday, they have assembled groups of skilled artisans and crafters to demonstrate their craft and interact with the public.   

Members of the local branches of Area 11 will be in attendance with a rug hooking display as well as providing interested parties a chance to try their hand at rug hooking. If you are planning on attending the Mariposa Folk Festival please stop by and say hi !!

OHCG Fall School & Annual Conference

The Theme for the 2018 OHCG Fall School in Ancaster is "Birds of a Feather" - Date: Oct. 25 to 28, 2018.
"Hooked on Waterways" is the Competition Theme for the next OHCG Annual Conference,
running May 4 to 6, 2018. Rug Display open to the public Sunday, May 6 from 10am to 3pm. $10 admission fee.
